My favorite thing about training is when we’re working on attacking we work on reading the defender and reacting. We also work on different ways to finish. I really like them because they are useful and can help me prepare for what to do in games situations.

I have crossed paths with many trainers during my daughter’s basketball years, and they are not all equal. Some have the skills, but struggle to connect with players, while others connect with players, but lack skills. Sanaa is a perfect balance of both. Her training sessions start on time, she is prepared, comes with high energy, and she can break down drills without her players slowing down. I would say most importantly, she is able to push her players without discouraging them. My daughter looks forward to her sessions with Sanaa each week. I am even surprised that she asks to train with her on Friday nights after a long week at school. She would rather be on the court with her, than out with her friends. That speaks volumes about both of them and their dedication.
